The children of Imbabazi learned to crochet from Roz many years ago. They have always made hats, scarves and blankets as gifts and have now turned their hobby into a community service initiative – crocheting hats for babies and children in our village. The orphanage is located at an altitude of 7,500ft and can be quite cold, especially at night. Through donations of yarn and crochet hooks from friends and visitors, our children are able to provide hats to keep their neighbors warm.
